Methods Taken In Curing Hemorrhoids

Your circulatory system is basically made up of veins and arteries. The work of these blood vessels is to supply blood to all the organs. However, there are cases when the vessels swell hence do not work properly. This is especially the case if you are suffering from hemorrhoids. This is a condition where blood vessels swell up beyond their usual sizes. The question is, what is involved in curing hemorrhoids.

Swollen vessels are a common occurrence around the anal canal. There are two types; an internal hemorrhoid which is not visible and an external one which is easily spotted - these form near the anus or grow beyond their place.

A number of patients have been reported to have both cases of hemorrhoids. As much as this may sound far-fetched, there have been reported cases of people suffering from the two hemorrhoid-types. The swelling of the blood vessels is due to internal pressure exerted on the pelvic region. At one point in your life you'll be affected by this condition.

The condition can also be as a result of pressure exerted on the anal/rectal area. You probably are wondering how internal pressure contributes to formation of a hemorrhoid. Here is your answer - the anus is surrounded by tissues rich in blood vessels (their role is to help the body get rid of solid wastes during bowel movement).

By exerting excessive pressure you are increasing chances of a hemorrhoid formation. In normal circumstances, these arteries, veins and tissues regain their original size after a visit the bathroom.

The scenario can change for the worse if internally pressure is constantly exerted. This makes the tissues, veins and arteries around the rectal region swelled up and difficult to regain their initial size/appearance.

If you are always straining when you need to move waste, you are probably at risk for hemorrhoids. Having diarrhea can also cause tissue in your rectal region to swell, because the repeated visits to the bathroom can tire the tissues that help control the movement of solid waste. Constipation, on the other hand, puts a person at risk for hemorrhoids because constipated individuals often have to ipush hardi? every time they visit the bathroom. The additional internal pressure can definitely cause hemorrhoids after a period of time.

A hemorrhoid can resolve on its own. In extreme cases, you may require surgery to get rid of them. This is very rare. One common symptom that indicates you have developed a hemorrhoid is a bloody stool. Should you notice traces of blood when visiting the bathroom, contact a physician as soon as possible.

The cure for this condition is simple - a change of lifestyle and diet. These two are the main factors that cause hemorrhoid formation. Genetic disorders may also be held responsible for the same. Here are preventive tips you should put into practice.

1. Eat a balanced diet. As much as you'd love to consume proteins, eat sufficient amounts of vegetables and fruits for fiber. Fiber helps the alimentary canal clean itself after meals hence prevent the formation of a hemorrhoid.

2. Take 8 glasses of water daily. Proper hydration eases bowel movements.

3.Exercise two to three times a week. Any exercise is beneficial to the digestive tract and your circulatory system.

4. Visit your doctor and ask for fiber supplements to be taken daily if changing a diet plan is going to be a challenge to you. Those are the tips for preventing and curing hemorrhoids.
